. . . be thankful.
Colossians 3:15b NIV
Today is Thanksgiving Day in the USA. I thought I’d celebrate a bit by sharing what I am thankful for. Please feel free to share your “gratitude list” as a comment to this post.
I’m thankful for:
My husband ~ He makes me laugh. He makes my life so sweet. He is truly my better half.
My kids and granddaughter ~ What a delight to see my kids grow up and make lives for themselves. I’m so grateful that they are healthy and happy.
A vast array of friends (including all of you) ~ The people in my life are so incredible. They bring me sunshine and laughter. They share with me from the wealth of who they are. (Thank you for the many emails of encouragement and inspiration. Thank you for your support.)
Freedom and opportunities ~ I live in a time and place that allows me to dream and play. I have opportunities and options. What a great gift.
My God ~ I am alive because of Him, both physically and spiritually. I owe Him my all. I am deeply grateful for His sacrifice and gift of salvation. I get to live forever with Him and many loved ones. I am so going to dance for about a century when I get there.
Be sure to hug your sweetie and find a quiet moment to let him know how thankful you are for him.
