Time to think about gifts for your sweetie.
I would like to encourage y’all to be sane about gifts. Don’t buy stuff just to buy stuff. Take the time to study your husband, his likes, dislikes, needs, wishes, dreams, etc. Beside item gifts, you might want to consider service gifts (coupons are great) or experience gifts (like tickets to an event or enrollment in a class).
You may also want to consider a “private” gift or stocking. Again think about what he might like to receive and be as reasonable about cost as you can (I think a stocking full of homemade cookies and coupons for bedroom fun would work just fine).
Another fun idea to consider is The Twelve Days of Christmas, where you give small gifts for 12 days preceding or following Christmas.
By working on it now (instead of the week before Christmas) you may be able to take advantage of shopping deals. Groupon (aff link) and Moolala (aff link) offer some nice discounts (as do many online companies). I just snagged a sweeeeet deal on an Android tablet for my honey (he knows because I had to check with him to see if that was the product he liked) and headphones for my son (I actually bought several pair because my son goes through them so fast. What does he do with them?)
With a little time and forethought you can make the holidays bright for your man.
May no gift be too small to give, nor too simple to receive, which is wrapped in thoughtfulness, and tied with love. L.O. Baird
