Weekly Warmth

in the generous life

© Aleksandrs Jemeļjanovs | Dreamstime.comEvery week between now and the end of the year, send your husband a card.  It can be romantic, silly, serious, funny, or sexy.

You could mail the card, have it delivered to him (friends usually love being a part of romantic fun) or leave it in a spot that he will come across easily (for example, leave a card on his pillow every Friday).  If you do this with regularity, he will come to expect it and that’s a nice bit of romantic anticipation.

Cards can be purchased or homemade, just make them heart felt.  It’s so nice to be regularly appreciated by your sweetie.

Love this! I just used Tiny Prints to make a card for my husband–with photos of us through the years–and they mailed it to his office for me. It was a freebie offer and cost me .44 for postage and .03 tax. Keep an eye out for deals from them too as another idea to make it personal!

When our son and son-in-law saw the title of this date, they both chose NOT to click the link to read it. Isn’t that hilarious? I assured them we hadn’t embarrassed them at least not with THIS post. :-) Thanks for linking up, Lori! I pray you’ll enjoy a Naked Date soon.

i’ve started something similar in that i set a reminder on my husbands phone to go off on saturdays while he’s at work. but i think a physical card would be nice too :)
