in the generous life

(As a response to yesterday’s tip, a generous wife (thanks, Jess!) mentioned Dave Ramsey’s Legacy Drawer.  It’s another nice resource that might work for you.)

© Paul Reid | Dreamstime.comMy father has always had an interest in the Galapagos Islands (no, I don’t know why).  I doubt he will ever get there (given his age, health, etc.), but that really hasn’t been a discouragement to him.  He’s read a truckload about the islands and has a number of colorful picture books about them.  He has enjoyed their beauty from the comfort of his living room.

There are many interesting places in the world.  Some are just up the road from you, some far away.  Why not plan a date night in one of those nearby spots or find creative ways of enjoying the ones too far to visit?  Why not have an Italian night with Italian cuisine and watch a movie set in Italy?  (Top 10 Movies About Italy)  The world is full of lovely places.  Enjoy them with your sweetie.

If the movie list had 11 films, my suggestion for the additional one would be Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

What a feast for the eyes, ears, intellect and heart!

I picture Galapagos Islands as an island of birds so it must be very colorful!
