Games, Games, Games

in the generous life

My husband and I have been playing Angry Birds on our phones.  It’s amazing how a simple game can bring two people together.  We share helps, compare and compete and have been known to yell, “die scum pigs!”

I would encourage y’all to play games with your husband.  There are games on Facebook, like Scrabble.  There are phone games.  There are board games and card games.  Find something you both can play and enjoy the couple time.

We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.  George Bernard Shaw

Great suggestion. We play World of Warcraft at home but even more importantly when he travels for business. That way even when we are apart we can be together.

Don’t forget video games. Many of today’s games are content/story driven and can be enjoyed together. In our house, he’s the player and I’m the navigator… I usually think of things that he doesn’t! :)

We’ve played angry birds before, but are now on “Words With Friends”!!! He can play anytime he gets a break at work, and I can as well. I love getting the notification that he’s played, and seeing how many points he got! It’s a friendly competition that brings laughter, and who can’t use a little extra laugh?!
