Faithful in the Little

April 5, 2011

in the generous life

When I read Proverbs 31, I am always driven to consider verse eleven.

Her husband has full confidence in her …  Proverbs 31:11a  NIV

What would cause that sense of confidence?

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much … Luke 16:10a  NIV

I’m just full of scripture today, but I think this is a serious clue.  When we are faithful in the little things, we are believable and therefore trust-able.  That means that when I say I’ll run an errand for my husband, I do just that and in a timely fashion. It means when he asks me a question  I answer with the whole truth.

So gals, consider your words carefully and follow through with integrity.

Be generous! (and faithful in the little things)  Lori <><

Thanks for the reminder. We get caught up in the busyness of life and overlook or simply forget these things. Thank you for your daily tips, your blog has helped change my marriage. God bless all you do.
