(People ask me where I get my ideas. The answer is – from just about anywhere. I thought I’d have a little fun this week and show you my thinking processes.)
I love quotes. It’s amazing how a sentence or two can carry such wisdom. Here’s one.
No one is perfect… that’s why pencils have erasers. Author Unknown
This could go any number of directions. I could encourage y’all not to be a perfectionist. Relax a bit and make your home life calmer, offer more grace, etc. or I could go the don’t-expect-perfection-of-your-husband route. I like that one, so let’s develop that idea a bit more.
Realize that your husband is made of clay (as you are). He will make mistakes, occasionally be careless or say something thoughtless. Be quick to forgive. One day you may be the one acting like clay. How nice it would be for him to be forgiving and understanding. Start the trend toward grace in your home.
