Wii Are Both Winners

in the generous life

Awhile back, when visiting friends, a few folks were having a friendly competition with the Wii. (aff link) It was hilarious (I don’t think I will ever look at my friends in quite the same way). Competition can get mean, but if you add a bit of silliness, it can make it fun and help the losers have as much fun as the winners. I encourage you to invite your husband to some silly competition. Try playing a game where you win Skittles candies instead of points or have a (private) wrestling match where the winner gets to pick the movie or what position you make love in.

You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.  Plato

My hubby and I play rock, paper, scissors all the time. We use it to determine who picks out the movie, where we eat, what we do, etc. The winner decides. I lose a lot but it makes him feel good and helps me let go of my selfishness. It’s not all about me! I love the friendly competition. Sometimes we determine the winner after one game and other times we do best out of 3, 5, etc. Good times!
