Let’s Do That Again Next Year

While the holidays are still fresh in your mind, ask yourself (and your husband too), what worked (and didn’t work) over the holidays. Make some notes so that next year you’ll have something to go on when planning for your holidays. I recommend creating a household binder to contain info that you need at your fingertips, including holiday notes.  It’s also a good idea to write down what you did for gifts.  You’re less likely to buy repeat gifts and it gives you a pool of gift ideas to look through next year.  Also write down any good ideas that you heard, ideas for gifts or decorations, etc.  Give yourself a nice start on planning for next year’s holidays.
