Buy some nice "manly" smelling lotion and routinely rub it on the rough and dry parts of your husband's body. It will give your husband some nice sensual touch and make him easier to hug (fewer rough spots).

I had to giggle at this tip. I truly like it, and personally appreciate it, but I don’t know how my husband would take it. I use a fragrance free lotion, and will sometimes use the “extra” that I have left on my hands on him, and he’ll say, “Why are you sliming me?” I’m careful not to do it too often, so it can remain a light hearted joke instead of becoming an annoyance.
