The Generous Husband and I are putting out a cooperative post tonight. We are running two polls, asking men and women what they want and need from their spouse (the idea was sparked during a conversation with a good friend, thanks friend). The information from both polls will be collected anonymously, and then be made available to the public. Please try to be relatively brief.
What do you want/need from your husband?
(If you are a guy reading this post, go here to answer the guy's question.)
To be on a quest is nothing more or less than to become an asker of questions. Sam Keen
Be generous! Lori <><

More words-about him, his day, what he’s thinking, feeling, wishing, needing… more words.

I want my husband to be submitted to God. I know I can get everything that I need from God, Who has promised to supply all that I need. If He chooses to supply some of my desires through my husband, I’m a happy wife. I still need to be a happy wife regardless.

I am blessed to have a great husband! A need I bring up occasionally is to be pursued and appreciated. He does so much in providing for us, sometimes it doesn’t seem personal enough. Sounds selfish as I type it, but it’s a desire of mine.

How can I support my husband through his depression and his struggles with faith? How can I can I continue to be generous when at times I get very little back because he is so very low?
Thank you, x
