Keep Him Company

April 27, 2010

in the generous life

My husband and I ended up eating dinner at slightly different times tonight and rather than leaving him to eat alone, I parked myself across the table and kept him company.  We chatted about the day (the silly chickens, computer stuff, our son, things we need to do tomorrow, etc.).  It’s amazing how simple talk about ordinary subjects can be so sweet.

Look for those times when you can keep your husband company and enjoy a bit of companionable talk.

A happy marriage is a long conversation that always seems too short.  Andre Maurois

I love this one. My husband and I ride to work together. Our offices are not exactly close to each other. And sometimes I have to leave earlier than I would like but the time we get to spend is prieless.
