Napkin Note

April 7, 2010

in the generous life

One of my favorite restaurants covers their tables in paper and leaves a cup of crayons for the patrons to have a bit of creative fun.  My husband and I write little notes to each other and I love to draw, so I just have a creative moment or two.  Not all restaurants allow for such creativity, but many have paper napkins.  Slip a pen from your purse and write a love note on your napkin.  When your husband is not looking, swap your napkin out with his.

Sometimes nothing speaks louder than a silent word written on a piece of paper.  David Lowenherz

I think this is a neat idea, I think I’ll start putting notes in his lunch pail!

I love this idea! I actually just did something like this yesterday. My husband has a real leather wallet so, it’s kind of fuzzy and I scraped I love you! ~ Your wife on it. It has made him smile every time he gets his wallet out of his pocket. I also wrote him a note on an old receipt he had in there. :)
