Easter Gift

April 4, 2010

in the generous life

I’ve made a few changes on The Generous Wife blog site.  To post comments you no longer need to register, just type in your comment in a little box (yeah!) and I’ve reconfigured the right column a bit so that info on the site is easier to see.  I’ve also added some interesting blog links.

Of course, my gift to y’all can’t compare to His gift, but then He’s God so He gets to win that contest.  Thank you God for the gift of your Son.  Thank you Jesus for the gift of new life.

Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here; for He is risen …  Matthew 28:5b-6a  NKJV

May we remember what the true meaning of Easter is all about and take a second sometime this crazy weekend and give thanks for this precious gift.

Well since I don’t need to register, this is my first comment. I love your tips, despite the fact that I only ever get around to trying them once in a great while. Reading them always at least reminds me that there are things I can work on.

I think I’ve said this before, but I’d LOVE more tips on non sexual things to do with your husband. Some of us struggle to find mutual interests. This has been a sore spot with me lately. I’m a creative person, and yet sometimes I don’t know what to do. I feel that our marriage would greatly improve if I/we could find some more fun things to do together, and maybe some tips on how to talk and have good conversations. I struggle to talk a lot. I want to be more open and free but coming from the family I did, I have years’ worth of hiding my feelings and thoughts to contend with.
