It’s Not You, Really

in the generous life

I had a really ugly morning.  Not sure if it was the wrong side of the bed or just having to face truckloads of paperwork and bookkeeping.  It was just an ugly morning.  It’s taken me awhile to learn this, but it’s a good thing to let the people around you know that you are having a bad day.  They tend to be more understanding and you’ve warned them you’re struggling.  You’re making a point of letting them know your irritation is not about them and that you’re trying not to take it out on them.  I figure it’s a win win all around.

Don’t get your knickers in a knot.  Nothing is solved and it just makes you walk funny.  Kathryn Carpenter

I agree!! And sometimes you even get blessed and cheered up because you said something instead of making someone else miserable because they don’t know what is wrong!
This happened to me last night, I was in a bad mood after work and I just warned my husband. He used extra grace and it helped cheer me up! Love that man!
