Get pictures taken of you and your husband. If a portrait studio package is going to break the budget, have friend take a couple of rolls of the two of you (with a digital camera you can take as many pictures as you need to get the look you want). Pick out the best photos to frame or make a special album (make a few extra prints for sharing with family and friends for the holidays).
So live that your memories will be part of your happiness. Author Unknown

My husband and I just did this! We wanted a new shot for our Christmas cards as well as for prints. I ordered one of the shots on canvas. I can’t wait to get it!

I also just recently had this in the planning. Have to wait until we get back from our marriage conference through FamilyLife this weekend though, and possibly even after the holidays. I was shopping one day though, and found a very pretty picture frame with the paraphrased verse “Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres; Love never fails.”. Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures of just ourselves over the 16 years, which is very saddening, so I bought with the intention of scheduling us to have some pictures done of just us. You never know maybe there might even be another opportunity to have a wedding photo for our next anniversary, it would be nice anyhow!
