in the generous life

Write out different scriptures (or poems, sayings, quotes) about love on postcards and mail them to your sweetie one a day for week.  Check your concordance for love scriptures or head for the library to check out a poetry or quotation book (you can also check out poetry and quotations sites online).

How do I love thee, let me count the ways … Elizabeth Barrett Browning

One gal in our Bible study had an anniversary coming up and no money for a gift. She wrote out 100 reasons she appreciated her husband on small squares of paper and wrapped them up in a box. It was a hit.

Men do love to be admired by their mates. Its a small thing that makes an enormous impact. Try it. It will make your husband’s day and build his confidence in every area of his live. Come on Girls, use your words for good.

“Therefore, encourage one another and build up one another…” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Just started today with and email and words from William Wordsworth! Thanks for the great idea! Maybe I will keep going for 365 days, alternating between email and postcards!

Thanks again!

I love this idea! I will put them in his lunch box. He’ll be sure to get them and appreciate them at night (3rd shift) when he’s away from home. Now, if I could only get up at 5:30am sometime to do something about that love!!
