Pick Him Up

in the generous life

Be aware of your husband’s energy level and be willing to help when he’s tired, or maybe just baby him a bit more than usual.  Having someone to help or care is a great pick-me-up.

Two are better than one … If one falls down, his friend can help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10  NIV

This is oh, so true. My husband has numerous health issues that determine what his energy level will be like for the day. I have learned how to “read” him and know if it is a good day, or on in which he is in a lot of pain and I do what I can to make the sound and activity level in the house as calm as possible. He tells me repeatedly how much he appreciates that I can tell when he is having a rough day. Take the time, ladies, to really study your husband and learn what you can do to make his day a bit easier!
